Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Our commitment

Hart Pharmacy is committed to making our website and our pharmacies usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every patient to be able to find information, transfer a prescription, and reach our team without barriers.

Conformance standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA (opens in a new tab). These guidelines are also the benchmark used for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 expectations for health care providers.

What we’ve done on this site

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, and a “skip to main content” link.
  • Full keyboard operation with visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
  • Touch targets sized at least 44×44 pixels on phones and tablets.
  • Text and interface colors checked for WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Descriptive alternative text on images and clear labels on every form field.
  • Form errors announced to screen readers and tied to the field they describe.
  • Links that open a new tab announce that they do.
  • Automated axe accessibility tests run on every change before it ships.

In-pharmacy accommodations

  • Large-print prescription labels and medication information on request.
  • Verbal counseling and medication review by phone or in person.
  • Free once weekly local delivery for prescriptions and compounds for patients who cannot easily travel to the store.
  • Accessible parking and step-free entry at our 13th Street location.

Call us at 316-683-5621 to arrange any of these.

Known limitations

Some content we link to — such as our patient portal, scheduling tools, telehealth partners, downloadable PDF forms, and embedded maps — is provided by third parties and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. If one of these creates a barrier for you, call us and a team member will complete the task with you over the phone or in person.

Report a barrier or request an accommodation

We welcome feedback. If you run into an accessibility problem, tell us the page and what happened, and we will respond within three business days.

For emergencies, call 911 — do not use these channels.
